Services

Targeted Operations Leadership & Execution
When an organization has an operational challenge but does not need a full-time hire, ORO provides focused leadership for a defined period of time. I step into complexity, clarify what is happening, organize the moving pieces, and help drive practical execution that lasts long beyond the engagement. The goal is to turn “we need to fix this” into a clearer, sustainable way forward. The following two services are example applications of this service.

Process Development & Workflow Optimization
Well-designed processes eliminate unnecessary complexity and create consistency across your organization. I evaluate existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and develop practical systems that improve communication, streamline operations, and help your team work more effectively long-term.

Project Management & Service Coordination
From operational initiatives to cross-functional projects and service coordination, ORO provides structured oversight that keeps work moving forward. Through proactive planning, stakeholder communication, and organized execution, I ensure projects stay on track while teams remain focused on delivering meaningful results.
Founder Story
I have always been drawn to the same basic question: how do things work, and how could they work better?
I first explored this question as an undergrad at MIT, where I studied Mechanical Engineering and developed a rigorous, systems-based approach to problem solving. As an engineer and consultant, I worked on complex technical projects in fields including medical devices and biotechnology, where success depended not only on good technical work, but on clear communication between people with different expertise, priorities, and constraints.
Over time, I realized that many of the hardest problems were not purely technical; they were operational. Teams had the right people and good intentions, but their workflows were unclear. Information lived in too many places. Decisions stalled. Projects moved too slowly due to unnecessary friction. No matter the industry, the way work is structured directly affects the people doing the work and the people being served.
I founded Oak Root Operations to help organizations build better systems: strong, practical, and designed to last. The name reflects the kind of support I aim to provide. Oak is valued for its durability, versatility, and longevity, while roots speak to foundations that go deeper than surface-level fixes. If this is something you think can benefit you, please reach out so we can discuss your needs, and how I can help.
